King's Lynn students enjoy visual effects workshop
Students at Lynn's College of West Anglia campus have been given a taste of their potential future careers during a visual effects workshop.
The college linked up with the Norwich University of the Arts (NUA), Access VFX and VFX software company FXHome for the session on Friday.
Programme manager Paul Gibson said: “Students have learnt new skills that they will be able to incorporate into their study.
"They have also gained invaluable experience of working with external tutors and an understanding of the software.
"I hope they have been inspired to broaden their horizons when considering career paths.”
The workshop was part of a nationwide programme of events, launched after following Oscar-winning VFX supervisor Paul Franklin received an honorary doctorate from NUA this summer.
