King's Lynn's historic Bank House up for sale for £1.9m
A popular restaurant and hotel in Lynn's historic quarter is on the market for £1.9million.
Bank House hotel, a Grade II and Grade II* listed building, in King's Staithe Square, has been in the hands of its present owners for 10 years.
Anthony and Jeannette Goodrich, who also run the award-winning Rose & Crown pub in Snettisham, said they are looking to move on to focus on their other business.
They said: "We are very proud of what we have achieved at Bank House in building it up to be the place to eat, drink and stay in King's Lynn."
The couple said it has "terrific potential" for growth and believe it will benefit from the town's regeneration programme and waterfront development proposals.
The property comprises 12 ensuite letting bedrooms, bar and dining areas and an external decking area overlooking the River Great Ouse.
Tim Gooding, director at Christie & Co's Ipswich office, who is handling the sale, said: "Bank House really is one of the most attractive and historic properties we presently have on the market and its growth trajectory proves the popularity of the operation and the demand for its quality offering.
"We anticipate a lot of interest being generated and can supply further particulars and information to interested parties as and when required."
