Residents at a care home in Downham are celebrating their close-knit community.
For on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 1pm to 3.30pm, keen knitters from the town and surrounding villages visit Downham Grange care home to take part in a knit and natter group with residents.
Up to 15 people, many of them members of West Norfolk Knitting Group, turn up for the sociable occasion called Click Clack.
One of them, Barbara Precey, 77, of Stoke Ferry, said: “It’s great to meet up and enjoy good company.
It’s all about having a chat and a laugh while we knit.”
Anyone interested in attending can simply turn up to the knitting group.
