Lamb-uary gets under way down at Snettisham Park

Spring is on the horizon with lambing season well and truly underway across West Norfolk.

At Snettisham Park, staff are likely to be keeping busy over the next couple of months with more than 400 lambs expected by 220 ewes over a four-week period.

Shepherdess Grace Baldry-Roberts is pictured above bottle-feeding a two-week-old Texel lamb at the park this week, where they were expecting their first lamb on January 12 but it arrived early on January 9.

The park offers visitors the “truly magical” chance to watch ‘live lambing’ inside the barns until the end of March.

The opportunity to bottle feed orphan lambs is also offered to visitors from February to September.
