There is just four days left to get those all important nominations in for the 2019 Mayor’s Business Awards.

We want to hear from you if you think your company is worthy of being considered for one of the prizes due to be handed out.

But remember - you have to be in it to win it.

Altogether there are nine awards due to be handed out next March and there is still opportunity for sponsors to join us.

Established in 1989, by former mayor Cllr Les Daubney, the awards recognise the achievements of local businesses, providing them with the perfect opportunity to showcase their success.

This year we are committed to delivering more for everyone: our nominees, our guests, our readers and, of course, our sponsors.

Contact sharron.marriott@iliffepublishing.co.uk if you are interested. Nominations are being taken in all the categories until 5pm on November 30.

The awards are to be presented during a glittering black-tie ceremony at Lynn’s Corn Exchange on Friday, March 1, and you can nominate the people and companies who you think deserve to be recognised right now.

The award categories to be presented at the ceremony, with their sponsors, are Mayor’s Business of the Year, sponsored by West Norfolk Council; Businessperson of the Year, sponsored by Brown & Co; Apprentice/Trainee of the Year, sponsored by Carter Accommodation; Business Innovation; Customer Care; Independent Retailer of the Year, sponsored by Agrimech; Small Business of the Year, sponsored by Mapus-Smith & Lemmon; Leisure and Tourism Award, sponsored by Metcalfe, Copeman & Pettefar, and Employee of the Year.
