Latest Covid-19 figures for King's Lynn and West Norfolk show no new deaths in the last two weeks

Latest coronavirus figures show that there have been no new deaths from the disease in the last two weeks.

Between May 30 and June 5 six people went into the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Lynn after testing positive for Covid-19, showing a decrease of 40 per cent from the previous week.

None of the coronavirus patients admitted to hospital were put on to a mechanical ventilator.

Between the same dates there was an increase in testing by 21 per cent for the virus than the previous week and six people with a confirmed positive test in the area.

This does not reflect the rest of the UK.

Around 990,000 people in the UK had coronavirus in the week ending June 2,

A Covid vaccination programme has so far reached nine in 10 people aged 12 and over with a first dose.
