Commuters are facing major disruption to rail services to and from West Norfolk this morning after a person was struck by a train.
The incident happened at Woolmer Green, between Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City, shortly after 7.30am today.
All lines to and from London King’s Cross were closed following the incident and only re-opened a short time ago. Services were diverted via Hertford during the closure.
Great Northern, the operator of most passenger services between Lynn and London, say some services may be delayed by up to 45 minutes, or cancelled altogether, until around 2pm today.
They have apologised for the inconvenience caused.
