Police have this morning, Tuesday, March 3, appealed for help to trace an 82-year-old man from Leziate who went missing yesterday afternoon.

Officers say they are growing increasing concerned for the safety of Barry Gill, who was last seen leaving his home in Station Road between 1pm and 3pm on Monday.

It is believed he was driving to Grimston in a silver Honda Jazz, registration number RO62 MBX.

Mr Gill is described as white, of heavy build, with white hair, 5ft 10 and speaks with a Yorkshire accent. It’s believed he is wearing a white or grey anorak and a flat cap.

Anyone with information about Mr Gill’s whereabouts, or who may have seen the car he was driving, is asked to contact Norfolk Police on 101.
