A 15-year-old boy has been arrested today, Tuesday, November 18, in connection with two assaults, a robbery and two attempted robberies which happened in Lynn at the weekend.
Police say the youth is currently being held at the Saddlebow investigation centre for questioning about the incidents, which all happened in the Walks area on Saturday night, between 9pm and shortly after midnight.
Earlier today, detectives said they believed the attacks may have been carried out by the same group of people.
And Det Sgt Pete Jessop, of Lynn CID, said the arrest is likely to be the first of many.
He said: “If you’re out there and you’re part of this, we will come after you. King’s Lynn does not need this sort of thing.”
He described the case as “alarming” and said extra patrols are being carried out in the area in a bid to reassure the public.
