LATEST NEWS: Police appeal over King’s Lynn phone robbery

Police have today, Tuesday, December 23, appealed for witnesses after a woman was attacked and robbed in Lynn last week.

The incident happened on St Johns Walk, outside the Globe bowls club, at around 11am last Wednesday, December 17.

Police say the victim, a 38-year-old woman, was talking on her mobile phone when a youth passed her on a bike.

He is then said to have stopped and cycled back towards her, before hitting her on the head and stealing her grey HTC phone.

The attacker, who fled towards Tennyson Avenue, is described as being aged between 16 and 18, having white blonde hair, wearing a grey hooded top with white sleeves and riding a large mountain bike.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Det Con Marie Lloyd, of Lynn CID, via the non-emergency 101 number.
