Leading children's author inspires King's Lynn school pupils

A popular children's author visited a Lynn school this week.

Jennifer Killick, back, met pupils from the Howard Junior School on Monday during a day of themed activities, including writing workshops.

She is best known for the Alex Sparrow series of children's books, which were recommended as texts for this summer's national reading challenge.

Ms Killick posted on social media that she had been "overwhelmed" by her welcome at the school.
