Disappointed with Hunstanton gardens, Lynn News Letters
Firstly the design does not lend itself to helping the disabled, with the numerous amount of steps without handrails. Whilst this may look very nice, it is not very practical for the many elderly people and disabled who visit. Much of the gardens seem to have been swallowed up by great swathes of concrete, which is a pity after all the times they have won the gardens in bloom.
Also it appears that something must have perhaps happened to the lawn mower as the grass was a disgrace, even where it appeared to have been cut several places looked as if it had been dragged out and also where it had been cut is was left all over the borders.
We went specifically to see the gardens and whilst some of the design was fantastic, some was not. Please could a bit more thought go into supplying more handrails enabling us old and disabled to access all the brilliant seating you have provided and also to be able perhaps to get more views.
Many thanks for the really good bit..
