No chance to have a say about Hunstanton design, Lynn News Letters
When I asked if I could go, I was told there would be a meeting at a later date for members of the public.
From 1986 to 2004 I was a member of The Wash strategy group along with the late Richard Searle representing Hunstanton. In 1979 I took part in the Hunstanton district plan, I was also involved in a sea defence plan that should have started in April 1997 but did not start until 2002. I was also involved in the Hunstanton promenade spaceshaper event in 2008 and the event to tidy up Seagate.
I worked beside the promenade and on the beach for over 60 years and, like John Maiden and others in the town, we have a lot of knowledge to share, but by the time a public meeting is held, everything will be decided and money wasted.
