Letter: Edward Wheatley November 7, 2017
Bring it on Mr Larcey. Let’s have another referendum on leaving the EU.
After the Europeans led by the unelected Juncker have made it abundantly clear that all they want is our money, as a convinced Brexiteer I am certain the majority to leave will be even bigger.
He cites as support for his view that Article 50 is reversible The Observer newspaper. Thus clearly demonstrating that, together with his patronising pals, he thinks we are too stupid to know that The Observer enthusiastically supports remaining regardless of whether it harms the UK or not.
He says we cannot make demands on the EU – been reading The Observer again Mr Larcey, or listening to the BBC? If you enquire elsewhere you’d have to acknowledge that as a major market, they need us more than we need them. So we are in the driving seat.
He asks for the argument to be couched in “simple not civil service language” so here’s some – “He Who Pays the Piper Calls the Tune”.
