King's Lynn Corn Exchange cinema idea is ‘bonkers’, Lynn News letters

By Lynn News Reporter

I think so. The decision to convert part of the Corn Exchange is a bonkers idea.

On a projected income in year one of £403,000 and admission at £7.95 plus a little extra from sales of food that makes you thirsty and drinks to quench your thirst, the council expect up to 30,000 will be coming to the new cinema when we already have a fine cinema offering cheaper seats.

This is a Disaster of a Movie in the making and someone, somewhere in the council decision-making machinery has to come to their senses and think again.

I would love to see it succeed, but in a year or two I think it will be “I told you so”.
