Downham Market mopeds nuisance needs action, Lynn News letters

More news, no ads

According to the Lynn News, police in Downham are unaware of the gang of kids using the town as their own race track and nearly knocking a lady over when on pavement.

This gang can be seen daily riding up and down Tesco’s car park, if the local police open their eyes when shopping in there, as they do.

Before they had their motorbikes, they could be found riding push bikes between the library and Tesco’s regardless of shoppers and the police were informed, so where have they been?

On Monday night this week in the dark, there were three cyclists in Bridge Street alone when a very rare patrol car passed them, yet never so much as stopped them to ask where their lights were.

Cars can be seen along the A10 seven nights a week with defective lights, but no chance of getting stopped, as police do not patrol the road these days or nights.
