Letter Lloyd Diggines November 10, 2017

Well we voted to leave the EU – Article 50 has been triggered and negotiations are under way, so if all goes well, we should be free from the shackles of Europe by March 2019.

Yet the anti-democratic Remoaners are still banging on about a second referendum, with the same tired old excuse that us Leave voters didn’t really know what we were voting for as we were misled by the pre-referendum Leave campaign. Which proves beyond doubt that you Remoaners haven’t got a clue why 17.4 million people wanted out because most of us made that decision on the day the Referendum was announced.

We didn’t need anyone to tell us what was going wrong with our country; we could see it with our own eyes.

There are a number of reasons why the EU is no longer working for the UK; none more so than Europe’s disastrous open-door policy – adopted by Tony Blair and his comrades in 2004.

Since then immigration has spiralled out of control with net migration at an average 250,000 per year for the last ten years, so is it any wonder that housing, schools, hospitals and doctors’ surgeries are under tremendous strain trying to accommodate this huge rise in population?

If you Remoaners are still looking for someone to blame for our new-found independence then your fingers should be pointing firmly at the biggest Brexit basher himself – Tony Blair and his short-sighted cronies. Because if it wasn’t for their spectacular blunder in 2004, resentment for the EU would not have been strong enough to hold a Referendum, therefore we would still be in, but it’s too late now, the damage has been done and the only way to stop it getting any worse is to revoke our membership.

So come on you Remoaners – let’s put our differences aside, get behind Brexit and help make Britain Great again!
