As a frequent visitor to Mintlyn crematorium with my elderly father, who is in a wheelchair, I find it very difficult to either pull or push him over the shingled paths.
I wondered if any other people in wheelchairs or adaptive aids find it difficult as the crematorium seems unaware. If there is a problem, then perhaps if complaints are received, there will be a reaction from the council to remedy the situation. One comment was, they thought the gravel was in keeping with the surroundings. Perhaps those behind the desks should try pushing someone along these paths. Please write to the crematorium manager and inform him of your thoughts on the paths and the need for a flat wheelchair-friendly surface.
