Place infrastructure before building new houses in King's Lynn

So here’s council leader Brian Long along with Sir Henry Bellingham MP and the housing minister Dominic Raab again bragging about the housing they are building in our area.

This article never mentioned the increase in infrastructure that would be needed before any new homes are built.

We know that the Government keeps cutting NHS money, staff, school budgets and Police budgets.

And fewer people want to train for NHS jobs,school jobs and policing jobs.

Also a lot of NHS workers are going back to their countries overseas and fewer people from abroad don’t want to work in the UK. Where will these new residents go for their surgery, when all the surgeries in our areas already have the maximum number of patients?

Councillor Brian Long, said to me the council has the money to build a new surgery on Fairstead Estate that has been needed for many years.

Fairstead Estate residents are still waiting for this new surgery before new houses are built. But if it’s built, there isn’t the staff or the money to run it.

Why is the council building houses in congested areas when the road infrastructure is joke, even if the council changes Hardings Way to an all traffic road?

In 2014, Deputy Leader Brian Long, pushed through plans to make this air polluting road of Hardings Way a bus and bicycle only road. So why are they now wanting to reverse that?

It’s down to keep building houses in the wrong places.
