Will new Fairstead surgery go ahead? Lynn News letters
The CCG and the NHS still refuse to talk to the residents on the Fairstead Estate about getting rid of their surgery, even after I put a Freedom of Information Act question into the NHS.
Yes, I got a reply saying that the CCG and the NHS will be having a meeting with Fairstead residents.
But in what decade will that be?
This is what happens after the Government keeps putting our health services into private finance initiative (PFI) companies.
Now we are stuck with a PFI company for the next 35 years and residents have no say in what they do or how they spend tax payers’ NHS money.
Will the CCG and NHS be building the bigger, new surgery in the parking lot next to the old surgery now more housing is being built on the Fairstead Estate, which the CCG and the NHS promised the estate over the decades?
Even our borough council has said they have the money for a bigger surgery.
We need the CCG to hold to their promise to staff the new surgery and run it.
Is it that the CCG, the profits before services company, is worried that the new surgery will decrease their profits?
