South Wootton and West Winch proposed developments are ‘the work of madness’, Lynn News letters

By Lynn News Reporter

I wonder if the people who dream up these schemes ever give any thought to the roads and infrastructure required to support these new families.

As things stand we have a hospital on its knees, an ambulance service unable to cope, we can’t find a dentist, we are closing doctors’ surgeries and heaven knows how many times you hear mothers talking about finding places in local schools.

Where do they imagine these new people will find a doctors’ surgery who can take them?

These schemes are the work of madness and no doubt behind it all is Government pressure and a handful of businessmen looking to line their pockets.

It isn’t sustainable development and I haven’t yet mentioned the busiest stretch of road in West Norfolk.

The junction of the A10 with the Hardwick roundabout and the bypass up to Knights Hill is a total gridlocked disaster area almost seven days a week and someone thinks building 4,600 new homes at either end of this stretch makes good sense? Get a grip everyone.
