NHS changes are questionable, Lynn News letters

By Lynn News Reporter

Needless to say I totally agree with every word. Having worked in the NHS for more than 30 years, I witnessed a lot of changes, many of them, in my opinion, not good ones.

I took early retirement because I felt numbers, targets and data were taking over.

The conclusion I have reached regarding the sorry state of the NHS is because the Government wants it to run like a business and not the real service it once was to this nation.

NHS. (6129279)
NHS. (6129279)

The Government is quick to claim that they are spending so many millions of pounds to improve the NHS but they never specify how that money is allocated. Is it for salaries of CEOs and the board of directors?

Bring back matrons and doctors-in-charge!
