No sign of our Prime Minister though? If it was happening in London, he would be all over it like a rash.

Some of these people have been flooded four times. Homes, businesses, lives have been ruined.

These elderly people suffering stress. Itis no good for their health and could well shorten their lives.

A decade of savage austerity cuts are a lot to blame; the sea defences should have been completed but these budgets kept being cut.

Unless this Government takes flooding seriously, it will happen year on year, perhaps even twice a year. How can the Prime Minister give the go-ahead to spend over £100 billion on a fantasy/vanity project like HS2?

Very few want it. Even if it ever gets built, who will be able to afford to travel on it. Not one penny more to be spent on the HS2 until sea defences are all complete.

They must be the priority.
