Grateful to the paramedics who are heroes, Lynn News letters

Last month, sadly my wife passed away at our home. The paramedics arrived very quickly and worked tirelessly over a long period of time to try to save my wife.

I will always be eternally grateful for their valiant effort. They are heroes, unsung heroes, every one of them. These are the people who should be at the front of the queue when the honours are being given out, not rich business people, showbusiness or sports people or those chosen because of who they know in politics.

The paramedics save lives every day. Let’s stop using the word “hero” on a super rich footballer who scores a goal. The Army, paramedics, NHS staff and all our emergency services people are the true heroes. The way these people are being treated is disgusting with all the cutbacks.

A very big thank you to all the paramedics who on April 18 tried so hard to save my wife. I will never forget you.

I would also like to thank everyone at the undertakers, Thornalley. They were excellent from beginning to end and made a difficult time for me a lot easier.
