King's Lynn's St George's Guildhall was a sight to behold, Lynn News letters




We must not lose that wonderful theatre, the plays and shows we have all attended in the past bring back lovely memories, expecially of Fred and Alice Calvert and the happy Dorothy Mac as musical director of many shows and the Scout gang shows, which were great fun.

The Corn Exchange sort of took over when that was changed into a theatre so the support of Shakespeare’s Guildhall Trust in raising funds needs all the support they can muster to renovate the Guildhall and keep it open for the enjoyment of all.

I am sure the television programme will bring lots more visitors to our town of Lynn.
