Free courses are being run at libraries but all courses must be booked.

Already up an running is Dersingham library (01485 540181), which is offering help with your tablet.

The next 30-minute course is next Thursday, 2-4pm.

Dersingham, beginners’ internet taster, Wednesday November 2, 4pm. Learn how to use a mouse/keyboard, search websites and Google.

Hunstanton (01485 532280), beginners’ guide to Universal Jobmatch- Monday, October 31, 2-4pm. Find out how to you can register with Jobmatch (you will need an email address), set up your CV, search and apply for jobs.

Hunstanton, free online training for work-based qualifications. Are you a parent with children under eight? Would you like to gain some qualifications in preparation for returning to work? Join us where staff and children’s centre staff will help you get online and start your training. Once registered you can work at your own pace at the library, with our support, or at home. Wednesdays, 2-4pm on Wednesday, October 12 and October 19.

Downham (01366 383073), introduction to Facebook, Wednesday, October 12, 10-12. Knowledge of internet searching and an email essential.

Hunstanton, tablet course, three three-hour course £15 per person. Thursday December 1, 8, 15, 10-1pm. Topics include a basic introduction, using the camera, searching the internet, downoading apps, sending e-mails.

Dersingham, tablet course, three three-hour course £15 per person for three sessions. Thursday December 1, 8, 15, 3-6pm.

Dersingham, become a BBC Weather Watcher, Monday October 17, and 24, 10-12. Bring your digital camera or tablet along to this two-part course, get some tips on how to take, edit and organise your photographs and find out how you could add them to the BBC weather watchers’ website. You’ll need to register for a BBC ID so please make sure you have an email address. This course is £10.
