Swaffham Library hosts Platinum Jubilee crafts event




Swaffham Library hosted a crowning glory Platinum Jubilee crafts event on Saturday.

The six parents and seven youngsters fashioned easily-made handmade crowns and card soldier models out of everyday items.

Swaffham Library manager Janet Cunningham said: "They made royal guards, toys and Jubilee crowns using things like kitchen roll tubes.

"They were using simple items for everyone to have a go.

"It was all part of our Norfolk libraries programme, we are doing several Jubilee events."
