Lifeboat rescues boat in trouble off West Norfolk coast
Lifeboat crews have rescued a boat which was close to running aground on the West Norfolk coast today.
Coastguard units were alerted shortly before 11am this morning to a vessel, with two people on board, which had lost steering near Scolt Head Island, off Brancaster.
Members of the Wells Lifeboat crew were despatched to the scene and towed the craft back to the harbour.
The operation lasted more than an hour from when the crew first arrived at the scene.
