King's Lynn lions and cubs plant for the future
On Monday, supporters of the King’s Lynn Lions Club collaborated with the 12th King’s Lynn Cubs to plant daffodil bulbs so they bloom in time for the National day of Reflection on March 23.
The Cubs and Lions have teamed up to remember everyone who has been lost through the pandemic but this is also a chance for young and old to remember everyone they have ever lost.
Marie Curie has been donated the daffodil bulbs by Boston Seeds, in Lincolnshire, and with the simple act of planting and watching your flowers grow can help us all remember all the lives lost during the pandemic, reflect on our grief, and hope for a brighter future.
Marie Curie is calling for everyone to plant some daffodil bulbs now to be part of next year’s day.
Helen Chapman, community fundraiser for Norfolk said: ‘It’s wonderful to see the Cubs and Lions teaming up together to help plant the bulbs to remember everyone they’ve ever lost.
"We have a number of people and places who have signed up so far in West Norfolk and would love to see more be part of our special day.
