Reffley litter pick in King's Lynn as part of the Great British Spring Clean

A litter pick took place in the Reffley area of Lynn at the weekend as part of the Great British Spring Clean.

The Keep Britain Tidy event is running for the next two weeks and community litter pick kits are available from West Norfolk Council.

Liberal Democrat county councillor Rob Colwell was on the pick and said: “Following comments from concerned residents we chose the area of Reffley next to the Gaywood River for the litter pick.

"Thank you to the volunteers. It was also a good spot as it is UN World Water Day on March 22, and the river needs all the help it can get”.

Anyone that would like to join the next litter pick can meet Clls Jo Rust and Rob Colwell at the end of Spring Lane by Gayton Road on Saturday, April 1 at 11am.
