College of West Anglia staff praised for long service and dedication
Long service milestones have been reached by a number of staff at the College of West Anglia.
Principal David Pomfret hosted a special breakfast to recognise staff for milestones of 10, 20, 25 and 40 years’ service.
Staff were invited to the college’s Novus Restaurant in King’s Lynn and each was awarded a certificate and gift voucher. Forty colleagues with five years’ continuous service will also receive a gift voucher and certificate.
Mr Pomfret said: “Many of our staff have worked for CWA for long periods of time and I would like to thank every staff member for their dedication to supporting our students to change their lives through learning during their time with us.
“The combined service of those collecting awards is a quite staggering 395 years. CWA and our students have been able to celebrate multiple achievements and successes over the years and none of these would have been possible without the continuing commitment of our staff.”
Those celebrating 10 years’ service are: Dawn Powell, Eleanor Evans-Lake, Jessica Woods, Anne Hamilton, Gemma Chapman, Beata Babula, Rebecca Gathercole, Rowena Smith, Selina Lennon, Linda Stonehouse and Leva Fretwell.
Twenty years’ service: Stuart Spiteri-Nobbs, Matthew Moore, Alexandra Evetts, Ronald Barber, Michele Clare, Lisa Gallacher, David Marrien, Michelle Cobb, Anita Clark and Guy Rogers.
Twenty-five years’ service: Tracey Palmer, Zair Middup and Debbie Henriques.
Forty years' service: Jeanette Nowrung, Paul Setchell and Paul Smith.
