Rob Williamson, general manager at The White Horse, said: ”Wow, what a magical evening. The weather was good to us, Nelson’s Shantymen entertained us, and our wonderful customers enjoyed the best of everything and also supported us in our quest to raise funds for the local branch of The Fishermen’s Mission.

“We are delighted to have donated the grand sum of £900.’

Andy Malcolm, of Fishermen’s Mission, added: “What an amazing night we had.

“We are so thankful for their support of the Fishermen’s Mission through this event. Having friends like The White Horse who understand the crucial role our local fishermen play and the issues they face means everything.
