King's Lynn owner of Glorious Food business is one of first in UK to gain BNI Passport To Success award

A Lynn businesswoman has become one of the first in the country to complete a new BNI initiative designed to maximise marketing skills.

Helen Mileham is a member of BNI Hanse, a networking group of more than 25 members from local businesses which meets weekly at Lynn Golf Club to support each other and the community.

She has become the first person in Norfolk, and one of the first in the country, to successfully complete the organisation’s Passport To Success programme, designed to help members take advantage of the latest business best practices.

Helen is the owner of Lynn-based nutrition specialists and IBS consultants, Glorious Food. The suggested ten-week programme was completed in just seven weeks and has helped her start to build valuable business relationships.

She said: “I’m really proud to be the first to complete the new programme. I pride myself on providing an effective nutrition consultancy service in order to help clients overcome long-term issues related to stomach pain and this training has provided valuable information and support that has already helped me in my practice.”

BNI Norfolk executive director, Dan Kelly, said: “I am so pleased that Helen has graduated through the new programme. It is a brand new training and mentoring system we have introduced to help our business owner members ramp up their marketing successes.

"Marketing any business is an art form that many fail at, but this system maximises the possibility of success for business owners.

"Already Helen has benefited greatly and gained many business opportunities as a result.”

Local business owners who would like to know more about the Passport To Success training programme are encouraged to contact BNI Hanse on 01553 886388 or email success@bnihanse.co.uk.
