King's Lynn man Aurelijus Cielevicius pleads guilty to causing death by dangerous driving of Gedney family after horror A47 crash

A man has pleaded guilty to three counts of death by dangerous driving following a horror crash on the A47.

Aurelijus Cielevicius, 39, of John Street, Lynn, appeared for a plea hearing at Norwich Crown Court this morning.

It follows the deaths of Gedney family Paul James Carter, 41, Lisa Jayne Carter, 49, and Jade Channelle Mace, 25, after a collision at the A47 Constitution Hill in North Runcton - about a quarter of a mile from the Hardwick Roundabout - on January 15.

Cielevicius pleaded guilty to causing the deaths of all three, and has been remanded in custody.

He will return to court on April 3 to be sentenced.

All three victims lived at Albert Avenue in Gedney, Lincolnshire, with an inquest into their deaths opened by Norfolk Coroner's Court on January 30.

Paul Carter, a builder, died due to multiple injuries sustained in the collision.

The same causes were responsible for Lisa Carter, a hairdresser, and Jade Mace, a youth offending officer, losing their lives.
