Lynn News is looking for its Charity of the Year- find out how to nominate

The Lynn News is seeking to find its 2021 Charity of the Year.

In 2019 readers voted for the provision of a maternity bereavement suite at Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Due to the complications caused by Covid it was decided to extend its residency as COTY until April. But now we want to put the support of the Lynn News behind a new charity.

If you have a charity or good cause you think needs our support then please nominate it. We promise to try to give you regular publicity on what you are doing, who you are helping and how you are fundraising.

You can nominate by email on newsdesk@lynnnews.co.uk, on social media on www.facebook.com/lynnnews or write to us at COTY, Lynn News, 17 Tuesday Market Place, King's Lynn PE30 1JN.

There will then be a public poll of readers to decide who we support.

Editor Mark Leslie said: "It has been brilliant working with the QEH over the past year and a bit and we are delighted that come the autumn there should be a new maternity bereavement suite in place. Readers have really responded to this good cause. Now it is time to help another appeal. It might be big. It might be small. The only thing we ask really is that it is local to us (although that doesn't stop it being a West Norfolk branch of a national or international charity, of course)."
