King's Lynn's BNI Regis to stage information day to help boost business

West Norfolk business owners and entrepreneurs will have the chance to find out how they can achieve more from their networking activities.

Lynn's BNI Regis Chapter is holding an Information Day on Friday, June 15, when BNI’s executive director, Dan Kelly MBA, will share BNI’s secrets to success through "word-of-mouth" marketing.

Dan said: “Our information day is ideal if you have attended networking events before but with very little success. If you feel frustrated that your networking isn’t providing you with enough, or any, business or feel overwhelmed when attending networking events then our information event is ideal. There’s no fluff or puff, these are proven ways that have helped other businesses transform their networking and people will go away with real practical and easy ways to improve business.”

Last year BNI Regis Chapter was named the number one performing chapter in Norfolk after generating a staggering £3.2 million of invoiced business for its members.

The information day is an opportunity for other local business owners and budding entrepreneurs to attend one of the fun and structured weekly breakfast meetings to discover how BNI can strengthen their enterprises too.

Long-standing BNI member Glen Piggott, from Ward Gethin Archer solicitors, said: “Being a member of BNI for more than 12 years, I know from personal experience that BNI adds thousands of pounds to our turnover. It’s like having your own sales team working for you constantly looking for business opportunities and recommending you. After all, the best customers come from word of mouth recommendations.”

BNI Regis Chapter celebrates its 11th birthday next month and founding member, painter and decorator, Andy Williams, said: “It is very satisfying to be able to help a client, friend or family member who is looking for a carpenter, or a printer or even a new car for example. You can connect the two with confidence because you already know your chapter colleagues’ businesses inside out as well as knowing that they can be trusted to deliver what they say they can.”

The information day takes place at the Dragonfly Hotel, Hardwick Narrows at 6.45am. There is a £10 charge which includes a light breakfast, payable at the door.

There are only 25 places available so any local business owners wishing to attend should register by calling 01553 380264 or email visit@bniregis.co.uk
