The Partridge pub due to open in Clenchwarton




A major project is under way in collaboration with a brewery to open premises in Clenchwarton as a leading destination pub and restaurant.

Formerly The Victory Inn, on Main Road, the pub renamed The Partridge, is set to reopen in November. It was taken over in July by new landlords Jed Stockdale and his partner Ashleigh Moore, who both have years of experience in the hospitality trade.

When Jed was manager at The Duck Inn at Stanhoe for around seven years, he struck up a good working relationship with Elgood's Brewery, who headhunted the couple to take over the Clenchwarton pub.
