Man, 70, in court accused of historic sex offences

LEARN MOREA 70-year-old man has appeared in court in Lynn charged with the attempted rape of a male.
Kevin Britton is accused of the attack on a man aged 16 or over at Swaffham in 2006.
He also faces nine counts of historic indecent assaults on males aged 16 or over in Dereham.
Three counts relate to one complainant between 1994 and 1996 and the remainder relate to another man between October 2001 and April 2004.
Britton, of North Pickenham, did not enter pleas when he appeared before magistrates on Thursday.
The case was sent to Norwich Crown Court for a hearing on February 10.
The defendant was granted unconditional bail until then.
