Man admits killing Downham Market man nine years ago

A Lynn man has admitted killing a man from Downham almost nine years ago.
Steven Louro, 43, of South Lynn Plain, Lynn, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and perverting the course of justice in connection with the death of Jan Hogan whose body was found in his flat in Basil Drive in Downham on May 23, 2010.
Meanwhile, Lester Aisthorpe, 58, of Basil Drive, Downham, pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice at a hearing in Norwich yesterday.
Both were due to stand trial this week at Norwich Crown Court, having been charged in connection with the death of Mr Hogan.
Both defendants have been remanded in custody and will be sentenced on Friday, June 14.
