Man arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving after crash on A47 at Walton Highway




A man has been arrested after three people were taken to hospital following a crash on the A47 yesterday evening.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to Walton Highway at 10.25pm after reports of the two-vehicle collision.

A police spokesperson said three people were taken to hospital and one was left with serious injuries.

The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene.

One man was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He was taken to Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remains.

The road was reopened at 5.26am today.
