Man bailed after Terrington St John crash

A man has been arrested and bailed following a two-vehicle crash on the A47 near Terrington St John at the weekend, in which another motorist was injured.

Emergency crews were called to the incident, which involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a tractor, at around 9.15am on Saturday.

Norfolk Police said yesterday the tractor driver was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with hand and facial injuries.

She added that the driver of the Corsa was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and driving while using a mobile phone.

He was later released on bail pending further inquiries.
