Man bailed in Hillington cash machine raid probe

A man arrested in connection with a raid on a cash machine at a West Norfolk petrol station has been bailed by police.

Officers were called to the Esso premises in Hillington at around 1.15am on Monday after an ATM, thought to contain several thousand pounds in cash, was stolen.

A man in his 20s was later arrested in connection with the incident.

However, Norfolk Police confirmed a short time ago that he had been released under investigation, pending further inquiries.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, or who has information, is asked to contact PC Ben Ward at Lynn's Police Station on 101, quoting crime reference 36/79241/21.
