Man bailed after elderly Hunstanton resident loses thousands of pounds in fraud

A man has been arrested and bailed after an elderly West Norfolk resident was conned out of thousands of pounds last month.

Police say the householder in Hunstanton was one of two Norfolk people targeted by cold callers claiming to be police officers on January 28.

Norfolk Police said this morning that a 31-year-old man from London was arrested in the capital on Saturday in connection with the incidents.
