Jonathan Fox was caught by King's Lynn police hiding in loft insulation

A named Jonathon Fox has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for six separate counts of theft.

He was found hiding in loft insulation by officers last Saturday.

Mr Fox was wanted by Lynn and Hunstanton officers and had been "evading them for weeks" according to a police tweet.

Mr Fox had committed the six acts of theft by stealing alcohol from supermarkets and breaching his community protection order.

Police said:"He is of no fixed abode and was very evasive and difficult to locate and was wanted by police for several weeks.

"My team and I attended an address in the early hours of Sunday morning and forced entry and found Fox hiding in the loft.

"He was laying underneath insulation (very itchy!)"

Mr Fox was arrested and charged and remanded after police gained entry to the property.

At virtual court he was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison.
