Man charged over Gayton home arson
A man has been remanded in custody over an arson attack in a West Norfolk village earlier this month.
Anthony Collins, 42, of Birch Tree Close, Lynn, appeared before magistrates in Norwich on Monday charged with arson with intent to endanger life, aggravated burglary, and assault.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Norwich Crown Court on January 24.
Police have now confirmed he was arrested at an address in South London on Christmas Day - four days after an appeal for help to trace him was issued.
The charges relate to an arson attack on a house in Hall Farm Road, Gayton, in the early hours of December 19, in which a man suffered spinal injuries attempting to escape.
A woman also fled to a neighbouring property.
