Man confirmed dead following A149 Hunstanton collision




Police have confirmed a man has died following a collision on the A149 at Hunstanton yesterday afternoon (Monday, December 2).

The incident happened on Old Hunstanton Road, close to Church Road, at 1.22pm when a Skoda car was involved in a collision with a single-decker Coasthopper bus.

A man in his 80s, who was driving the car, died at the scene.

Five passengers on the bus sustained injuries, some of which were serious but not life-threatening and they were transported to Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

Officers would like to hear from witnesses and anybody who may have seen the manner of driving of either of the vehicles immediately before the collision.
