Man dies following hit and run incident in Feltwell's Mulberry Close




A man who was left in the middle of a road with serious injuries after a hit and run has died.

Passersby in Feltwell's Mulberry Close called 999 on Tuesday at about 11pm after they found a man with serious head and leg injuries in the street.

Paramedics rushed him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn, but because of the seriousness of his condition he was transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge, where he succumbed to his injuries today.

The street was closed off as forensic units descended on the scene on Wednesday.

A man in his 30s has since been arrested in connection with the incident.

He currently remains in custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.

Anyone who may have seen anything in the Mulberry Close area between 9.30pm and 11.45pm – or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage – should contact Norfolk Police on 101 quoting incident number 23 of Wednesday 29 September 2021.
