A man who had been missing for several months was found dead in a village near Lynn, a court has heard.

Andrew David Cox, 39, was discovered unresponsive in Castle Rising on Easter Monday, April 5, last year.

An inquest into his death, which was held in Norwich today, was told there had been no sign of him for several months.

He had been reported to police as missing by adult social care workers in July 2020.

The court heard Mr Cox had a history of mental health issues and there had been evidence of drug use.

Tests indicated he had been exposed to both prescribed and non-prescribed substances in the period leading up to his death.

Assistant coroner Simon Milburn concluded that Mr Cox's death was drug-related.
