Sculthorpe man in court for assaulting woman at Fakenham home

A man appeared in court where he admitted assaulting a woman.

Joshua Delaney, 27, of Stirling Road in Sculthorpe appeared at Lynn’s Magistrates’ Court last Thursday.

The incident happened on December 30 2022 after an argument with the woman at a property in Fakenham where Delaney grabbed the woman’s wrist.

In mitigation, Andrew Cogan said that Delaney was trying to leave the property.

Magistrates gave Delaney an 18-month conditional discharge and order him to pay £105 in court costs and a £26 victim surcharge.
