Two people taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital following a crash between van and motorbike in West Walton

Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash between a van and a motorbike.

Police were called at 2.02pm today to reports of the collision at Church End in West Walton.

Three ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle attended the scene, as well as an East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Two people were transported to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital by road ambulance – a man in a serious condition and a woman being transported for further assessment and care.

The road is believed to be closed according to a post by Lynx Bus on Facebook which is unable to operate through the village for the rest of the day due to the incident.
